[ Project Notes ]

Situated on the banks of the Tiau River, this church is designed to accommodate the existing church members as well as future growth.

Gabled GI roofing with a north-facing clerestory window ensures sufficient protection from rain and floods the interior with light. As the project is located in a remote village of Myanmar with limited connectivity and seasonal roads, timelessness, durability, and ease of maintenance are the principles driving the majority of the design decisions.
